All of our ergonomic products and office chairs are shipped free of charge to all of the United States (all 50 States except, Hawaii and Alaska). We currently do not deliver to PO boxes as packages must be inspected upon receipt by parties assuming responsibility for receipt of merchandise. Product that is too large or is ordered in high quantity may be shipped via freight carriers that can accommodate the size of the order and are better equipped to handle the job in comparison to common courier. Drivers are not required to remove the product from the truck and in most cases will require the end user to be responsible for offload/ delivery completion. This method of shipment is usually utilized for hefty or large sized items that are going to commercial loading docks or places where they are capable of handling an offload of that size.
How will my products be delivered?
Many of our chairs ship disassembled and packaged for FedEx or UPS shipping. UPS and FedEx shipments to commercial businesses will be brought inside your building. If your order has multiple chairs on it your order will be shipped via truck. All orders shipped by truck are shipped ''Dock-to-Dock'' unassembled. Liftgate Service will incur an additional charge. Inside delivery and/or office chair assembly is not included but can be arranged for an additional charge. If I am not able to receive a delivery, will BuyWorkChairs.com leave the merchandise at my door or in a location that I specify?
Products shipping via UPS or FedEx Ground will typically be left at your door if you are not there at the time of delivery. Some shipments may not be left at your door without your signature. We cannot be held responsible for freight costs incurred by returned shipments for this reason. We reserve the right to bill you for shipping charges on refused shipments. We reserve the right to bill you for incorrect delivery addresses, typos caused by you when your order was placed and requests to forward shipments to another address. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
May I request a specific delivery date?
We will try our best to schedule UPS and FedEx deliveries, however, because delivery times are scheduled at the discretion of UPS and FedEx, we cannot accept guarantee specific delivery times.
When will my order ship?
Most of our in-stock chairs will ship within 1 to 2 business days of purchase once they have cleared order processing. This warranty is issued to the original purchaser. The warranty covers from the date of purchase for as long as the product is owned by the original purchaser. Clear Design (referred to hereafter as “CD”) warrants that its products shall be free of all defects in original material and workmanship from the date of manufacture. The warranty covers the product for normal usage (This warranty does not apply to damage incurred from shipping, storage, alteration, misuse, abuse*, exceeding the 275-lb weight capacity (seating), use exceeding a normal 40-hour work week, and failure to provide regular and necessary maintenance on seating and flip-top training table products—including tightening all screws and bolts every 6 months). If a product is defective within the warranty period CD will (at its option) either repair or replace the defective product. CD will request written warranty notification and usually images/photos of the issue. In certain cases (at the discretion of CD) the defective product may be required to be returned to a CD location. The warranty does not apply to damage caused from normal ‘wear and tear’, damage caused by misuse, abuse, transportation of the product to different locations, damage caused by tear-down and/or reconfiguration of the product, damage caused by exposure to moisture, chemicals or elements. Products will not be covered by the warranty or considered defective if the product is determined to have been installed incorrectly. It is the sole discretion of CD to make a determination if the product was installed incorrectly or a defect is due to incorrect assembly/installation or usage. This warranty does not cover marking, scratching, denting or other visual defects caused by the user(s). Clear Design shall not be liable under any circumstances for consequential, economic or incidental damages of any nature, including, without limitation, damages for personal injury or damages to property, and however occasioned whether alleged as resulting from a breach of warranty or contract by Clear Design or negligence of Clear Design or otherwise. The Clear Design warranty does not cover costs of freight of repaired or replacement parts. This warranty does not cover costs of labor or other costs associated with the repair or replacement of warranty parts.
